I have just got back this evening from Marseille - our first camp there this year. It all feels very real now that we are back out in the Olympic venue and have our British Sailing Team training base set up ready for the upcoming months.

Earlier in the month we did a downwind camp in Lake Garda - where my coach, Jonasz Stelmaszyk, lives. Garda is definitely one of my favourite places in the world to go sailing! We then drove our van and boats across to Marseille in time for a three-day regatta there, organised by one of the major clubs on the bay - Yacht Club Pointe Rouge.

Almost all of the Olympic competitors made the most of the chance to race and we had very different conditions on each of the three days, which is very classic Marseille! I was happy to come away with silver - a good confidence boost ahead of the Games.
