Racing at RLymYC
With one of the most famous sailing areas in the world on our doorstep, the Solent offers an unrivalled backdrop to our racing programme.
Approximately 30 nautical miles long by 5 wide, with all year round and all tide access, the opportunities to race are second to none.
We pride ourselves on the quality, variety and competitiveness of our racing calendar whether for fun and socialising or for the more serious race teams.
Our fleet of committee boats, safety boats and mark laying RIBs provide a professional level of race support. Many of our regular race officers have officiated at international and Olympic level and they also offer coaching for young and old to learn these skills too.
And after the racing is done, a welcoming bar and restaurant to share tales from the racetrack.

Club Activities
COMMUNITY YOUTH PROGRAMME
Our unique Wednesday Junior Sailing (WJS) programme has run for over 40 years throughout April to September. WJS offers 8-17 year olds, members or non-members, the opportunity to learn lifelong skills on and around the water.
